Amazon Cyber Monday Sale

Browsing some of the deals that started today.
Can't believe the price on this tv....I paid $999 for it two years back.
Anyone else looking at the deals?

I was just looking at those. I saw this one....never seen one with a number pad like it.
Otherwise a good price for a basic laptop.

I'm waiting for next year. The 12th Gen Intel processors are the new 7nm process. They are far better than the 11th Gen. The Lenovo 12th gen Intel Laptops will not be available until sometime next year.

Gold and Silver are having a Cyber Monday sale as well.

Couple the plummeting prices with the online sellers Cyber Monday low over spot prices and woo! We are having some fun now.

Beats the hell out of buying Chinesium crap.

Got a 4TB external hard drive for $80.

Those police body cam videos eat up space on my laptop.

^^^ That's certainly the way to buy those. One at a time would add up to X3 price.

Needed a bigger microsd card yesterday, didn't realize it was sale time. Turns out cyber monday sale, 256gb samsung micro sd delivered to my house in 2 hours for $30 including tax. Totally living in the future.

For laptops... I pretty much ignore processor. I'm happy with used P series thinkpads with 4k screens. Durable, great screen, fast storage and good gpu, its the whole package. P15v2 comes with an a5000.

For once, I see a tool in a tool thread that I already have and don’t have to buy it!

Besides, I’m running out of room.

I bought a Wirsh. Lots of good reviews, and they all say the customer service is great. We shall see how I survive my foray into espresso machines.

Wow thats a lot nicer than I was expecting to see for $140. Good luck. The measure is whether it can make a tasty beverage. Do you already have a grinder?

Friends ask me for advice about espresso machines... I tell them not to waste their money if they're not already spending bank every week on beans. Espresso will concentrate the bad flavors.

My advice:
orphan espresso manual fixie grinder ($200)
#2 melitta cone brewer ($7)
pack of hario v60 thick white paper filters ($7/100)
good fresh beans ($15-20: not grocery store or franchise)

With that you can make one of the best cups of (drip) coffee in the world. The tough part is the price of good beans, the price of the gear pales in comparison.

I'd rather have a good espresso and while price of entry goes way up the cost of beans still dominates.

Edit: oh no you're in hawaii... Could be wrong but when I searched I was not able to find great beans for espresso... Stick with drip!

Hahahaha! We can get good stuff, but just have to pay shipping. I actually use an Aeropress at home and figured I'd get a little fancy. I have another house that I have a Keurig. It's ok. What I use the machine for is making cafe sua nong. However, with a frother, maybe I'll make a latte. lol Ahh, the rabbit hole.

Just picked up 3 more ounces of Gold Eagles @ $90 over spot and 100 oz of 10 oz Silver bar stackers @ $4 over spot on a Cyber Monday deal.

I keep buying G&S while I patiently wait for blood to run in the streets again, then I am cashing my G&S in and buying up the screaming deals.

Everyone is buying right now, not a good time to buy anything. I can wait.....
