Yes. I listen to Rebecca Black singing It's Friday, too. The shiets just catchy.

Depends on my mood which is pretty good right now. I pity the fool who wants to change that.

And these.....

Here's my number. Call me maybe.

Im a Barbie Girl

Poker Face

Then Rage against the Machine to reset.

Music is as personal as food. And I'd rather hear Tiffany sing "I think we're alone now - even this TMZ version - than hear "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". That song grates on my nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard.

"Whistler" by White Buffalo or "Whipping Post (live) by the Allman Brothers would be the reset.

Shame on all of you!!!! SHAME!!!!
She was just 16 when she was singing her song. It's simply not fair to compare her 50 year old drunk self to her 16 year old perky young self.

Instead of chastising, we should offer a welcoming hand. I think she could fit right in here on weekends!

It was a good cover but structurally different.

I like the original better but like the Tiffany version for bubble gum appeal.

The original did a way better job accentuating the alone part. The multi part harmony and simple base notes promote intimacy vs loud fuzz guitar.

Tiffany only had back up on a few lyrics where TJ and the Shondells used back up to a great deal.

They had some pretty good hits back in the day...on my list of good groups. Why do people tend to enjoy the music of their youth? Memories...one I have is cruising with a girlfriend in my then new '66 GTO when this came on the radio. She began singing along. Then reached over, undid my belt, began unbuttoning the fly of my levis 501s...

Hey baby, baby, can I take you home?

Sigh. Me and Elizabeth in my 65 Skylark coupe. I used to tilt the rear view mirror down.

Amen...we were fortunate to have been really alive during such a golden age.

That's just as happy as I'm Losing You by Rare Earth.

I can't be but I searched on recent pics of her and there are enough fat pics that look close enough that I am not going to push back. I hope it's fake.
