Ours are old and the largest is 2.9 gallons. Also, we aren't in CA so fuel is much cheaper. I could fill my wife's bike for $5.

I've stopped at $5.00 ish before but that is usually because I'm late for a meeting or I have to pee really really bad. However, if it's the latter, I doubt I could stop at $5 on the money.
