The first domino to tip?
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/act-sheer-panic-turkey-central-bank-intervenes-prop-lira-fails
With the lira having lost 40% of its value in just the past 3 weeks (and down almost 50% YTD), now that the market finally realizes just how insane Erdogan has been all along with his intention to keep cutting rates until the mid-2023 Turkish elections... ... and foreign investors pulling their capital from Turkey in a show of defiance to the Erdogan regime - they may return if and when a new, more sensible ruler emerges - overnight the Turkish central bank intervened in the foreign exchange market for the first time in seven years, and in an act of sheer desperation, fought to shore up the plunging lira.

Remember the housing crash of 2008?
It started in 2006, by 2007 it was accelerating and no one noticed. I noticed in late 2007 something was wrong and started to circle my wagons. Looking back at my books now. I can now see the crash started in 06. I was not paying close enough attention. Now I watch everything closely. Right now? I see US growth through 2022. My business is tied into the economy, if money is flowing I am getting some. In Nov. 2020 I went into panic mode. I spent the next 6 months paying off all my debt. Now I am hedging this "fantastic economy" I may be wrong, if I am fine, I did no damage to my finances. I am playing both sides here. I am also investing in the markets too. The plan for me is to keep a close eye on the economy. When you look at the GDP vs debt, you freak out. But here is the rub... the USD is tied to oil, many nations currency is tied to the USD, the USD is too big to fail. Therefore, I cannot see a total collapse of the USD unless the entire world collapses. Buy Silver with spare money while JP Morgan is suppressing it. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
