I almost posted my own thread about these when I mounted them a few weeks ago .
|
If I was needing a couple more winters out of my tires....I would go with those.
Really not sure what I might need out of the new Civic. |
^^^ Yeah, I'm counting on the ones that come with it working ok.
But for the next replacements...I'll look at the Michelins. |
Two days at Roebling Road.

^^Geez...what did you hit to take chunks out like that?

I put these Kumho ECSTA V720’s on my M3. They should last longer than my other tires. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1639190784.jpg |
^^^ Awesome! Great to hear.

I have the Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's on my 84....only used on the road.
I've used Kuhmo's for a long time....always have like them. My next fav tires are Toyo's |

I switched from the Michelin 4S to Cup 2 and no more tread chunking. Now it's just dollar bills chunking! When the Cup 2's wear out, I think I'll try Yokohama 052's. |
I have had this tire for sale on Craigslist for a month now for $20
Not one response...am I asking too much? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1657053529.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1657053589.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1657053674.jpg |
Yes.
|
Any less...I might as well burn the damn tire. :D
|
Drop it off for recycle.
|
^^^ We don't have a spot like that. The tire sales places will take your tires for $10 each..but I don't think they will take them unless replacing them.
|
I would think a single tire would be a hard sell. A pair or four would be much easier.
|
It was one of a pair on the rear of my Carrera. The other one had sidewall damage...so I had both replaced to match, and kept the good one.
I thought maybe someone on CL would want it for a spare. |

May as well make it free. |
^^^ I might have to go buy one to make a pair for sale. :D
I have always bought Toyo's for my Prelude. Currently have Toyo Extensa HP's all around. |
Still no sale on the Kuhmo.
Might have to lower the price. |
The price is now $10 for the tire. Not bad for an $80 tire.
