Phones and things I just dont understand
First, I am not a phone person. I am not constantly checking my phone for messages. I just need to make a couple calls and texts daily. I do not want to spend big $$$ for the service. For 4 years I have had Tracfone and a cheap android phone. The last few months I have had connection problems in places that I should not. Thinking the old phone was just outdated and worn out, I did what all my buddies do. I got an I phone. You know what ? Same problems + it would not send pics to my laptop with bluetooth and if I wanted an app I had to get it from the apple store. After 2 weeks of not being happy with it I decided to move to a big boy phone service but need time to decide witch. I returned the Iphone and bought a $43 motorola e6. Hot damn. Bluetooth works and I get cell service when I need it and it came with the apps I want. It makes calls inside the metal barn. I can keep my cheap Tracfone service and do everything I need.
Rant over.

I use Tracfone also with my Moto G6 smartphone for the last few years. I couldn't be happier with it and the service. Always a signal and never any drop-outs.
I am on a three month auto-renewal plan that cost $20.21 for the 3 months. Once in a while I have to buy additional data because it's on all the time. They make it easy to buy it...just text it. Tracfone has quietly improved all of it's services. It's not like it was when it first started up. No need to buy time cards...just get a subscription or text what you want.

I gave 2 cel phones. 1 is my work phone and has my cel# I was assigned in thr nextel 90's. It is a Samsung X Cover Pro which is the latest Samsung Active phone. Meaning it is shockproof and waterproof.
My friends and family phone is a Samsung S20FE on the Tmobile network. Why 2 phones? A. My work number leaked out to so many customers that think I am on 24/7 call it was getting annoying. Phone calls at dinner at 8 pm in a restaurant on a Friday night, when I did not answer 5 to 6x calls. Frantic voice-mail and text messages. That phone now gets shut off at 5pm M-F and all weekend. B. I need to have data connectivity. My GPS equipment depends on it. When the Verizon network cannot provide data (rare) the Tmobile does. I have owned my small business since 1996, the beeper and flip phone Era. The advent of data on a cel phone, the ability to manage emails, send files, scan documents all on a cel phone wad a HUGE game changer. It made the ability to run my company remotely a reality. Untethered me from an office and gave me to ability to work anywhere. I cannot even begin to describe how much this tech improved my business and made it more efficient. I understand the 2 phones thing, I have a land line for people that I dont want to know about the cell. I really do not understand the Iphone problem. It kept turning off WIFi calling on its own. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. Then I got this cheap Moto e6 and everything just works.
