That's gonna seem like a great idea until you get ticketed for illegal lights or worse impersonating a first responder.
A better idea would be to replace the gas engine with electric and run a charging cable to the back. That way you'll never have to pull over to charge it.

I see ricers, bikers, trucks, etc... running around with all sorts of lights including colors like red and blue. Cali may be different, but I suspect Vash will be fine. Besides, cops probably look at him different now that he's in management. He'll never get pulled over again.

Or they could see the lights as another excuse to pull you over and hassle you about both the lights and tinted windshield.

I used the one in the back of my truck to power some lights that spell out "F the Police"
Man, you all are a bunch of downers, I see stuff like that all the time..... |

Red facing the rear is totally legal as long as it's not flashing and then that's a borderline offense. Red and blue seen from the front may get him a warning not flashing. No telling what a cop would do today if it was flashing red and blue.
I live in Long Beach CA where the PD has been voted by a police organization that rates depts as the worst in CA and the 5th worse in the U.S. I see a black and white and I turn right just to not be around. No way would I put silly lights on my vehicle. Anything to attract attention could end in death around here. |

i love you guys..but seriously. that stick up your....nevermind.
this was for fun. i wake up at 4:00 am daily, so i am in bed before dark. and we drive an electric car everywhere. the tacoma barely moves. the irony about bringing up the cops..that's the job of the FUN POLICE. "to protect and serve opinions". hahha again. seasons greetings. PPOT has a certain flair these days. less fun for sure.

Not trying to rain on Clifs parade.
I do think it's fun. But I also happen to like him. Needed a favor years back and he stepped up big time. One of our best and most valued members. Maybe the POPO in his neck of the woods are chill. They are not like that everywhere. Some places you'd last a day with those lights before finding yourself with a boot on your neck. Just looking out for the guy.
