Woodside is nice, Joe Montana lives there.

I like where I live, and what I do for a living. I would continue to work, but would be doing way more free stuff. I would be buying a lot of stuff for other people. My own personal make a wish deal.

This.
But I'd also have to have a Shakespeare bust with a secret switch inside that opened a bookcase wall to a fire pole...even if it only went down one floor to the kitchen or something.

It would be nice to offer one of the places to friends and family for vacations, weddings, reunions, etc. all expenses paid just for fun!

Each place would be a basecamp for exploration. Charter jets, yachts, whatever. I’d definitely spread it around. I’d have to come up with some kind of criteria.

The biggest problem would be trying to stay truthful to myself and to those I love.

I’d surprise people with anonymous gifts.

I think it would be cool to build a Goodwood equivalent in the states. Maybe in Montana or Idaho.

Private track, an enormous lodge for guests, private airport, big, well equipped garages. Paid specialists at the ready to make sure everybody's car is running well. Ambulances and medical personnel. Motocross track and lots of bikes and gear just for giggles.

All free for my friends. Just show up. Bring your own car or use one of mine.

Hmmm. Most of these fantasies, like most lottery fantasies, are centered around $pending. Toy buying, lavish living, etc. Not much about wealth production.

All I can tell you guys is that the lottery is your best hope...

I'll invest my billion in that. Well except my way. Expand it to be like the nurburgring. But im thinking in eastern pennsylvania. And i want an epic gokart track or several. And rally courses. Areas for atvs and offroading. Very cheap entry fee

Me? I'd build a hot tub time machine.

What would I really do with a cool billion? Find all my dad's unfinished projects and finish them for him. Top notch, better than new. Once finished, I would enjoy them. After that, find people who appreciated them, and give the projects to them.

I would track down every practice I have worked for, find the owner, pay off their practice and get them out of debt, I'd restore a locomotive or two, restore a number of passenger cars, and go restore a 912 of a 914 with a 3.6 liter and break every rule I could regarding originality. They would all have doglegged 901 type transmissions. I never goose it in first anyway, so who give a f#$%.

I would make right all the wrongs I have incurred over the years. I would show mercy, to all, except for 'pajama' wearers. They can suck it. Otherwise, I'd be pretty generous.

I would support people who loved their craft.

At least 100,000 acres in West Virginia to include surface water, bottom land and wooded hills.

Ifn you ain't happy now you ain't gonna be happy rich..

Money buys security that you can pay the bills and not go hungry. Other than that you is stuck with your own miserable selves..

Even though all the pretty hotties down on the Strip tell you how kool you are still just a another dirt-bag Schmuck with a bank roll in your pocket..

I'm pretty darn happy now. Are there "would be nice" things, sure, but nothing that I need to be happy.

Could I have a lot of fun with more free time and more money to do things, absolutely.

You just have to remember that you're happy already, and not let the pursuit of stuff and spending overshadow that.

(I'd also get a pair of dragon ass jeans and a couple of silver spoons)
