My wife is NOT a "morning person" at all, and I learned over 30 years ago to not bother trying to talk to her until she has showered, and had breakfast.

Yesterday she was simply not talking to me at all. I had no idea why, but I was not going to push it.

Finally today she told me we was just really furious at me because she had a dream I had left her at a gas station and I had just driven off without her. I would no more do that than set my hair on fire. She just so mad at me she could not talk to me. And she understood it was just a dream! I was innocent.

Today all is back to normal. I just waited it out.

Women are weird. I lover her more than I can put into words, but I sure don't understand her brain sometimes. She is not usually like that.

Was it in New Mexico? Did a guy try to braid her hair?

I did not ask for details. That would remind her and made her mad again.

On our kitchen counter sits the coffee maker and the toaster side by side. My wife keeps the toaster unplugged and plugs it in when she uses it and unplugs it after. Coffee maker is always left pugged in.

I asked her why she does this. "I don't know, but I'm going to keep doing it." :rolleyes:

There are several of these kind of stupid things she does and has no reason for doing it.:confused:

She was probably pissed because a Brad Pitt type didn't show to "rescue" her...

I've heard stories like this before. I think my wife woke up after a dream once and joked that she was mad, but she didn't actually act mad as if I'd actually done something.

I REALLY do not understand that sort of reaction to a dream. We all have our quirks.

The ELR episode is when the Barone family travels thru the west on vacation. They stop at a gas station in NM and when leaving, forget Robert, their oldest son.
20 miles down the road...they realize he's not in the car. They return to pick him up and he tells them that some guy wanted to braid his hair.

fight fire with fire. make up an awesome dream right there on the spot. tell, her sorry for her nightmare, but you had the opposite dream where you two went on a romantic vacation, bought her jewelry, cooked dinner, made hot love and renewed your vows.

I just remembered the movie. The Game (1997) Michael Douglas... He woke up in a graveyard crypt.

They are all nuts. lol

Funny but I knew my marriage was over when my ex wife started bringing things up that happened more than 10 years earlier.
I used to call it... "tonight's unreasonable problem". That didn't help the situation... lol

My wife gets mad at me all the time for stuff I do in her dreams.

She'd really be mad if she knew what I was dreaming about!

"Oh HELL NO!" and then he's wide awake for hours .... scary schit indeed :D.

Normal women are not like this. They laugh it off after a minute.

I actually had a few women dropped off at my gas station. But usually it's not a good story and they're either drunk, homeless, or working. Or all three. I kick them off the property.

I've had a few of those dreams recently where my wife has done something to me and I wake up mad at her.

It is truly bizarre to wake up mad for something that occurs in your sleep. It takes me a minute and a trip to the can and I realize it isn't real and all is well. Strange nonetheless though.

My wife had a dream like that one night woke up from it and actually hit me while I was sleeping . Woke up I was like 'WTF?? She was sitting up in bed shaking and crying. Apparently I had been screwing around with one of her friends in her dreams. :D

I suspect the last one was a 'ho from the bad part of town. It was right after we opened at 4 AM. Her john or whatever threw her out of the car and sped off. She was drunk or high, and threw a muffin at one of my employees and barricaded herself in the women's restroom. Now, my restrooms look more like ones in a luxury hotel than a gas station. I took a 2x4 wood bat and wacked the toilet stall open and told her she has 3 seconds to wipe and gtf off my property or I'll drag her by her hair out the side door with siht dripping from her ass, and out to the street kicking and screaming. I made my point clearly and concisely. She left pretty quickly.

Did you ask her if it's one of her hot friends?

I'm pretty sure I live in an isolated area of the usa.
Or maybe I never hear of things like that.

He heard the second he woke up from the beating who it was.

She is/was hot enough to make VINMAN's wife jealous.

Tell your wife you had the same dream and got so pissed off at that you dropped her off at the gas station..and didn't bother to go back..

The interpretation is that the OP was not emotional supportive of her in some circumstance which is the abandonment portion of the dream..so she got pissed that she was left hanging out to dry..and it finally connected in her waking life.

Now I keep having this dream that I am the Prez and am pushing and pushing the button to launch the missiles to blow up China and Russia and nothing happens..only to find out that the Generals have disconnected the button on me..
