I should be going to sleep, but I just started EP#3

jhynesrockmtn 02-08-2022 05:09 AM

I just finished it and thought it was well done. I enjoyed the back and forth between Reacher and Finley and how their relationship developed. Roscoe turned out to be a bad ass. Was this season's story arc based on one of the books? I need to grab the first book and give it a read.

The phone number in the shoe is explained in the last episode.

Yep, Reacher, Finlay, and Roscoe are great. I watched the first 3 episodes last night, and enjoyed them.

It’s based on one of the books, but it does deviate from it somewhat. The books are really good, most of them anyway, especially the first dozen or so. There are a couple much later in the series that didn’t have a plot that was worth writing a book about but the books are better than the movies or the TV show.

These books rank up with the Harry Bosch novels by Michael Connelly, everything else is second-best.

i think this was based on Lee Childs first book.

i agree some of the future stories were not that great.

911boost 02-08-2022 08:52 AM

Yep, based on the first book. There are 27 of them but I’m not sure if the original author wrote them all.

I really enjoyed the series as well and am looking forward to the next one. If it follows the books there will be very few characters that carry over.

His little brother’s helped with the last few. There were a couple, six or eight books ago, that didn’t seem like his work.

This is a pretty good synopsis of how the book Killing Floor, the characters were adapted by the producers and writers.. like Neagley isn't in Killing Floor but was written into the series to be a recurring character..

Which book was the original movie with TC based on? One of my favorite movies ever.

You should check Reacher out, Baz. There's a dog.

Steve Carlton 02-08-2022 07:01 PM

That's right. An abused dog...

syncroid 02-08-2022 07:41 PM

The wife and I just finished it. Two thumbs up. Looking forward to more.
Yes. Abused dog. Grrrrr! Previous owner/abuser can take a serious lesson! Not giving anything away for those of you that have not watched or caught up.

Rusty Heap 02-09-2022 05:50 AM

Just finished it last night, he's a walking man closing scene.

rusnak 02-09-2022 06:13 AM

I think the dog did some of the best acting in the series.

stomachmonkey 02-09-2022 06:18 AM

Started it yesterday.

Do his facial expressions start changing as we go further in cause he's a bit stiff right now.

911boost 02-09-2022 08:26 AM

If you have read the books, that is the character.
