Ascent battery change

When we got the car the dealer referred us to the Ascent forum. Yea I know crazy there is a huge forum for a frickin SUV. 20-30 threads on premature battery failure. This is one of those cars that has to have the memory tender or whatever they call it. This car is the Touring which has all the built in nanny stuff. I finally got to the thread that basically said take it to WW and get xxx battery it’s rated way higher than what the dealer was going to put in there.

There is a guy on there that was a former WRX racer and is getting 330 hp out of his Ascent. It’s a quick car for as big as it is. I told my wife and she was no way, you’ve got your 930 to do anything you want to. It was maxed out so I’m going EFI right now. That is all I could push the envelope besides twin Turbo.

Is it an Ascent board on a subie forum?. I'm curious if there's an outback section.

Ascent. Not sure we would ever buy one again there are so many horror stories. We had trouble with the Apple play with numerous updates. It’s stated 5,000 towing weight may be questionable with than transmission but they aren’t as bad as Nissans.
