right click on the image, select get info, change extension from png to jpg.

I've been doing it wrong then. .png is smaller.

I put all pics to upload in a folder.
Then open one using https://www.irfanview.com.
Click File / Batch ConversionRename.
File type is .png. Output type is .jpeg. Click "add all". Click "use current folder" .Click "start batch".

The layout is funky at first, but you can convert unlimited files at once.

:D

I have only been watching them do it for 50 years. It is not negative, I positively expect them to continue on as they always have.

BTW, not a glass half empty, a glass that is 80% empty and should be more than half full.

I have photo editing programs that can convert the image, but how can anything be faster than changing the extension. Just renaming a file takes seconds and no programs to load or learn. It works great for PNG files, but not other file types.

Apple decides on their own to change to Heic files. So far a Windows based computer has to buy a conversion program to even look at it. Even Photoshop will not open a heic on my Window 11 computer. I refuse to buy a program just to view a photo, even if it is just a dollar.

It's just one dollar.

Well…. Snowfall finally hit and boy what a wallop. Almost two feet and my maple trees snapped like twigs. Looks like our prettiest Dogwood is toast. I took some old tire chains and modified them to fit my tractor. Five hours of snow moving. I was able to get my truck out and went looking for gas for my generator as the power is out and looks to be out for a while. Lines at the gas station are around the block so I’ll wait until tomorrow. I’d post pics but they probably won’t load.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1640657312.jpg

I live in the SW part of the state at 3,400 ft. elevation. The rain we're getting is just about right - a day or two at a time with maybe two + inches, then a break for a day or so. My weather station says we've gotten 22.26 in. for the year, but I have no idea how accurate the station is.
