There is a very good reason that not many bands cover this song :D

A cool track off one of his solo albums.

Pete's slo-mo power slide at 7:54 is THE definitive rock and roll image. I wish I could get a tattoo of it.

I always loved his signature windmills. If you watch carefully that you'll see Townshend and Moon queued off of each other and rarely looked at Daltry. There's a reason for that

All the while, Thunderfingers is laying down epic sound without moving an inch from where he stands during the entire concert.

Pete "stole" the signature windmills from Keef as the Stones were just breaking big. I remember Pete saying he saw Richards do the windmill just as the curtain was opening or something. Keef was just loosening up or something... and it was a "one time" thing and not part of his playing, but Pete thought it was cool. Later on he made it his signature thing with Keef's approval....

And this thread was really over with the second post :D.

Others may then line up for 2nd place ..... lots are tied for second imo.

Proof that you only need 4 strings.

Favorite is my cousin that is a professional musician playing bass for a very, very well-known member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He started on his path when we were just kids.
