A wart or skin cancer…

So, I was looking at the back of my hand today, and I noticed a little spot that had tiny little brown spots. What do you think a wart, or skin cancer?

Either way, I need to see my dermatologist asap and start using some lotion of some kind.

Could be a developing wart or maybe benign Seborrhic Keratosis. You should see your dermatologist for a definitive answer. I have tons of keratosis spots in my hands, arms, & front/back of my body. Pretty common as you age and kind of a weird thing.

Looks like a way to me, but then I've never seen skin cancer.
Better to get checked than guess

Yes, see dermo. Probably covered under Medicare.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but do make a booking to see the man. Better to be safe than sorry.

I've had various chunks cut off, but I'm certainly no expert so I err on the safe side.

Old white guys do not generally get warts on the backs of their hands. Dermatologist might send you to a hand guy for that, but you want someone to slice that thin and look at it under a microscope.

I thought I had a big wart on my middle finger. Turned out to be some sort of super rare thingy.

My dermatologist was all excited. I offered to split royalties but she said not THAT rare.

+ see a dermotologist.

Even if its not skin cancer, it may not be a bad idea to take more precautions when going out in the sun.

That's probably a COVID vax microchip, or cluster of ferrous nanoparticles, that did not fully implant within your brain and migrated to your hand!

The girlfriend once kept the books and appointments for a local plastic surgeon that was from India. He had all kinds of remedies for stuff. For warts, it was nothing but putting a piece of duct tape over it for a few days, then it would be gone.

Skin cancer is serious stuff.
I had a small spot like that on my Facial cheek,
growing to the size of large walnut in
less than 60 days (!).

Major Surgery (removal of Lymph+Parotid Glands)
did not get it all. Options left are Radiation+Chemo,
and very serious side effects.

- consult with dermatologist ASAP.

- Get a biopsy ASAP. (many Derma Docs will say to
'watch and wait'. I disagree. I waited too long, while the
Derma Doc said: "oh it's most likely benign, nothing to worry about)

- be aggressive about scheduling a MOHS procedure
if biopsy indicates the need to remove it.

- Keep a sharp eye on growth, catch it early.

Good Luck,
it's likely nothing,
but better safe than sorry!

As everyone has said…get it checked out. I’ve had many MOHS surgeries and lots of stuff frozen off. I had a tiny brown spot on the side of my face and they biopsied it…it was melanoma. Tiny spot turned into a big question mark carved into the side of my face. Get it checked out!

The dr said look at it like tree roots…they’re either deeply rooted or just under the surface. He said mine was not even in the ground yet. That’s why it’s so important to get checked regularly…to catch it early. Because that one was a melanoma, they have me coming in every 3 months. BTW, no scar, it healed up pretty smooth.

The ABCDE of melanoma:

Assymetric

irregular Border

unusual Color

Diameter usually about the size of a pencil eraser when diagnosed

Evolving in size, color and shape
