We are into them as well. Maxed out purchase in 4Q last year and already bought the $20k this year.

Cindy opened an account in both our names years ago...but turns out to be a bit of a foul up. I'd have to open a sperate account in my name, so we're only doing the 10K thing. At my age, didn't want to bother...
too bad about the 10K limit, isn't it?

I did some reading on this last night, it appears to be inflation based, do I have that correct?
So there is inflation after all. Looking into this as well, a good place for the wife and I to toss 10K each into. I am always looking for varied avenues to invest in. Thank you PWD for the tip.

Pretty sure these rates reset every 6 months. So it's not like these are locked in at 7.12% for the next 30 years. Could go higher or lower.

Too bad there is a limit of $10k/yr, because 7.12% indexed to inflation is sweet for an income…

I suspect the one after that will be higher and that trend will continue through the year. Wife and I are opening accounts this weekend and maxing it out for 2022, wish I had known this in December I would have maxed 2021 as well.
