Fix the bike and and start over. you never know if there will be a next time, not that there's anything at all wrong with the catskills. very beautiful, or maybe go up the Hudson valley region along the river, keep on going to the adirondacks, maybe keep on going up to burlington vermont......but if 66 is the mission, stick to it...
being tired is very dangerous. twice ive dumped mine for that reason. i was knapping and a friend called and woke me up and said come meet up for a hamburger. got excited because i had a reason to ride my bike. ran out, hopped on bike, backing out of the garage, my garbage tote hit my knee and it was just enough for that new top heavy ZX-7R to go over. and i had no strength to fight it... Ruined the side fairing, cracked the signal light etc... Another time riding up to Rochester from Manhattan and pulling into my brothers garage, put foot down, too tired to hold up my Sportster. Totally exhausted, ruined my V&H pipe, cracked the mirror off etc...
