#1 thing for longevity is to keep your dog lean

select a good, nutritious dog food (some guidelines on an earlier post here in OT)

I have a Golden also - a big issue is skin problems - take her to your vet 2x/year for checkups and have the vet check up on any lumps - most will be no issue re cancer, but catch them early

Thanks, Big lens and waiting for the right moment. We were camping in Acton and I was waiting for the train to come by so I could practice shooting trains and happened to get this one. I did print it and it is on the family wall of pictures.

This is Zoey. She will be 15 in a few months. She still acts like a 4 year old dog. She loves to spend time in the back yard in the summer looking for any critter that might be good to eat. She keeps the yard clear of all the bears & lions and herds of hippopotamus.
