Oh, I am ready to sell my Time. Its all hand made in France and a real quality built bike. It was 10k now, its 3-4 K if I am really lucky

Time is a very cool bike, a guy I've ridden with has one.
Yeah, my 928 is full carbon. FSA carbon bars, crank, seat post too. 16 lb s 9oz. total. The frame weighs 2 lb.s and now it's considered a Dino POS! Oh well, ha ha. I'll bet my water bottle weighs the same as the frame.

Funny, my 67 911 is worth a small fortune and my buddy's modern Cayman is worth less than my work truck. It's a crazy world

My go to bike is an S work ( bought from a friend who dislike the color and bought another) now with SRAM bluetooth wireless shifting. I hate SRAM. Don't like the way it shifts, and the way the levers feel. I am huge fan of Shimano DA. Oh well, I gave it a go. Other then that, Its a fine bike. My SRAM 10 spd mechanical was good. Bianchi Oltre was my first choice. I have never own a Bianchi, thinking I better buy one now before I go soft an buy an American bike (deep down inside, I know the R and D is better due to the fact we have more money and better tech).

BTW, I got my S work down to 14.5 lbs. If I put on the THM crank, I think it can drop another 1/4" lbs and stiffer too.

Had to look that up. https://www.sram.com/en/life/stories/10_Things_You_Might_Not_Know_About_eTap_AXS

I'm getting old. A cellphone is now now required to shift a bicycle? SMH

Quick search from Pinkbike.
https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/list/?region=3&q=cannondale%20caad%2010&category=26
Depending on the component grade the ask is about $1000+/-.

It's all about electronics now. Shifts faster and is lighter than mechanical. I just gave up trying to keep up with the new fangled tech. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1649779134.jpg
Went all electric, now I don't even have to pedal anymore! 😉

greglepore 04-12-2022 08:51 AM

The issue right now is that people want discs and the ability to fit 28c tires. So 750-1k.
CAAD 10's were desirable crit bikes in their day.

stevej37 04-12-2022 01:43 PM

It's a nice looking bike...but I'd be surprised if someone paid more than $500
I hope you do get more than that.
Good luck!

Well, I have to tell ya, they ain't no cell phone. Electronic shifting shifts faster, more accurate with little effort. Keep in mind, this is set up for racing, not a ride to the local coffee house so they can ooh aah at the latest bike tech which most old guys have a few bucks do. ( I do no never ride to have coffee, only training or fast riding). If it saves me some effort shifting with a flick of my finger instead of using my whole hand to push a spring loaded lever, then I give elec. shift a go. Still, I love my Shimano electronic shifting better then SRAM. Sram has no wires, making it lighter and no fishing wires through the frame. I know, to many of you, does it really matter if it shifts faster or not. I go on these race pace training rides, if its a little energy saved, I am all in.

If it is a super six it is carbon.... I have one as a winter bike

Cheers

If you really want wireless electronic shifting this is a better option for every day use IMO.
The electric shifting from Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo are great but damn they're expensive.

- Search "Archer Components D1x" on Google & YouTube.
It works with ALL rear derailleurs and can be used on all bike with any number of speeds.
You can even use a second one to shift the front derailleurs.

And it's Made in the USA!

https://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?item=1527792

think that is the frame new was 1k frame only
can't find it in 2016 or with look bits
2 k new with other parts
4k with disk brakes

guess about 1k now maybe a bit more for the look parts

Thanks everyone. Good discussion. The opinion on price range here is vast; $100-$2,000. I’ll list it and let the local market show me the result. I’ll report when I sell it.

Caad 10. Look at the welds and the giant "10" on the fork.

Ask for $1300 and take the
first $900 that shows up

One thing I'd do is switch the 28 wheel diameter to 700c in the listing. Get some pics in full sun. If the drivetrain is unscratched, get closeup pics of the cranks and the rear cassette/derailleur. The more detail shots, the better. Show em' the newness!!!!

-also are pedals included? what type? cleats too? If so let em' know. Usually bikes like this come without pedals since they are so specialized.
-same for water bottle cage- close up pics of cage/ "cage included" etc...

I would have to see something amazing to replace my SRAM RED E-TAP. It is bloody amazing, easy to set up, and far lighter package than the SHIMANO. Have it on 2 bikes.

Cheers

Hard-Deck 04-20-2022 01:16 PM

I just sold it for $1,300
