NY Auto Show - The Apocalypse Is Upon Us

I knew to expect all manufacturers to highlight their EV technology but there should be laws against this.

needs a speaker to simulate the sound of a V-8 and a giant vibrator to make it feel like there's a V-8 in there.

Last time I was at the auto show was to see the debut of the 3rd generation RX-7 in 1991. I was a college student and so wanted that car. Strangely, the only time I’ve ever seen one in the wild was when two of our neighbors bought one after the show. Both were sold in less than a year.

Used to always go to the Javits center motorcycle show when I lived there. That was great.

Now days, new cars just bum me out

I went yesterday as well. Hadn't been there in years and was disappointed that so many companies didn't show up. I liked the GR86, the Fords were very plasticky inside, and I continue to dislike the crossover body style.

I chatted with the Radwood rep, he said they will have a meet in Saratoga in August. I might make that trip.

My brother and I had 1st gens.

Was always tempted to pick up a 3rd gen cause I think they are cool as hell and I love rotaries.

Just took a peek to see what's available out there.

$86K for a clean one?
