Guy walks up to the victim behind, shoots him in the back and robbed him while he lays on the ground. Then walks off like nothing happened. Three other people walk up and rob the dead guy again.

It makes me sad.

I read this and I wonder, has it always been like this but the Internet makes it so easily seen. Or has humanity taken a nosedive? What will happen in the next 25 years? Will things get better or they get worse? How much worse?

An observation about the victim - Older guy with a nice Truck. He was probably a veteran.

The first guy who just shaking his head. He knew if he even moved he would be next.


Those that robbed him after. Good group of people.

It is because they just let people that commit crimes out and they repeat. Guaranteed this guy will have a rap sheet with other violent crimes. They should just not be on the street.

The cops should use facial recognition on the perps ass! :mad:

Some people are just born broken.

An at the time best friends older brother, Deans List student at arguably the most prestigious private school in the state, broken.

Kleptomaniac, criminal, used to take the little brother into the worst neighborhoods where you could get shot 10x's a day on a normal day because he figured the cops would not suspect he was there to score dope.

Threw the families pocket dog from the backyard over the house into the front yard like a football because he thought it was funny and that was a mild incidence for him.

I witnessed that one first hand.

Parents where off the boat Irish blue collar family who went to church every week and never ever cursed. Salt of the earth people.

The other 5 kids were perfect.

Tommy, he was an evil demented individual from the day he was born, you could see it in his eyes.

Truly disturbing individual who skated because he was also truly brilliant.

This is a big story on the news here and rightly so. Another POS that deserves no additional time in free society . A judge actually set bail but police and the community were outraged so bail was set much higher . So for now the POS sits in jail .

Don't spend any tax money trying to rehab this scumbag . Trial then execute . Done

There’s far too much of this kind of crap within the black community. I don’t know what it is but they really need to get a handle on it.

Let's pause for a moment and recall how liberal lawmakers protect the "underserved" members of society and constantly argue we do not do enough for them, they should not be locked up pending a criminal trial, etc. Hence urban cities where this type of crime happens routinely and the medial rarely covers it because pulling back the curtain would awaken outrage in some less liberal, liberals.
Some people have no place in society; I would argue the above are some very strong candidates for that classification.

We could probably come up with thousands of reasons for this type of behavior. Some valid some less so . Bottom line is you either want to be a positive influence to society or you don't . You decide to be law abiding or you don't . You get an education or you don't . You get a job or you don't. Yes maybe this is over simplified but I feel it is the truth .

In my humble old white guy opinion the black community has to pull itself out of the gutter. Black leaders/teachers/actors/athletes/business professionals have got to stand united as a positive influence. And they have to strongly denounce this type of behavior.

More $$$ , more social programs , more handouts is not the answer . Defunding the police is not the answer . Violent protest is not the answer. Bottom line is if you decide to act against society and it's laws you end up in jail or prison . That is the same rule for all races . I am sure I will be flamed as racist .

I know, like any other sentient being, what is wrong.

There was a story in today's paper about a local man that had moved to NYC. He saw a teenage girl about to be attacked, and he stepped in. He suffered a broken cheek bone, and kidney damage. His insurance covered the initial hospital visit, but the followup MRIs and diagnostics are more than his coverage and he is asking for help with his bills.

The irony is is is a write for comic books, and writes plots for superheroes. Unfortunately there was no superhero to save him. He tried, and will suffer for it for many years.

There are folks that will say that even if they want out, they can't get out because they are being held down/back. I have no doubt that the low-income culture (regardless of the ethnicity of the people in it) perpetuates itself. And the people that have what it takes to get themselves out are few and far between.
A lot of folks would argue. Statisticians can make the numbers say what they want and I even believe that it's possible that if you've got a result in mind, you can get to that result without consciously trying jut because of your preconceived ideas. I also believe that it's possible and should be the case that math/numbers are unbiased.

THere's a reason why ever truck commercial says that truck X has the most powerful motor in it's class. Is is the most powerful standard motor or the most powerful optional motor? Is it the most powerful because of torque, hp or towing capacity? etc...

Obviously, those are stats where they are trying to make things sound a certain way for marketing.

I'm not left or liberal, but numbers can be distorted to make the desired point.

We had a discussion a while back that had some interesting points and videos. It was about car jacking, I believe. In the video, there was a guy that was able to go into the hood and talk to car jackers. Someone in the video blamed car jacking on the car manufacturers. Several other folks HAD to steal cars to have a roof and food over their heads because they couldn't get a job because they were an ex-con.

THere was a lot of "It's not my fault. It's someone else's fault. I HAVE to do what I'm doing."

Mas, this is different. We are not dealing with marginal numbers, we are dealing with huge disparities in who does what, when, where and how.
