Knock a zero off the end and I still wouldn’t buy it.

hahahah. I could see it being worth $7k. It's practically new. You can barely buy a car in good mechanical and aesthetic shape these days for that. It might be fun to hoon around in for a short time. Granted, it's no Bullitt...

Let’s just say I wasn’t a fan of that era of Mustang.

I'm pretty sure the dealer knows what he's got. Someone out there would love to get their hands on a car like this. A butt for every seat....

Here's one that's ten years newer, fewer miles. It's not in my car-o-sphere as either desirable nor in terms of perceived value, but someone brought it home from the big dance.

I REALLY don't understand buying a car that you presumably like/want, but then not driving it. I sort of understand for the rich folks that buy various super cars as an investment, but buying mustangs, camaros, etc... as investments seems a little crazy.

I can understand that sentiment but Fox body Mustangs actually have a huge following. The price isn’t the least bit shocking in the current car market for a mint 9k mile example in red.

Opinion: Simply put, these are not a 69k experience

Yet, some folks disagree with you...one in teal blue just went on BAT for $78,500. (edit) On 2nd thought, guess you're right..

Prices for lots of cars have gotten to the point they make no sense whatsoever. Just say nope, I’ll pass…

Definitely. I vote with my wallet and don't buy things that I think are overpriced, with the exception of motor fuel and food, of course.

$70K?, that's nothing. Here's a Fox body Saleen Mustang that recently went on Bring a Trailer for a mere $226,000

The humble notch back coupes will always be the fox body sweet spot.

I have had a few Mustangs over the years ('66 coupe, '92 LX 5.0 and '95 GT). I still have the 66 as it was my first car and my kids drive the 92.

I also would not pay that for this car, a Saleen S351 maybe on the SN95 platform, but only because that is what I wanted when I bought my '95 GT.

As Speeder and Java mention, prices are crazy. There is no way in hell I would pay the going price for a 3.2 Carrera or the 964 Turbos, both of which I have had. Hell, those make these mustangs look like a bargain.

I remember buying my '88 targa for <$20k, and sold for a bit less than I paid. I'd love to have another, but it's not going to happen unless I find a winning lottery ticket.

I’ll take the 93 over the 03. The 03 era mustangs look hideous.

Not something that I would buy, but given the rarity and condition, I don't think that price is outlandish.
