Disposable hand-warmers
Some better than others?
Shelf-life? Ever get a dud when you really need the heat?

I got some rechargeable handwarmer fingerless gloves. I'll bring them over sometime and you can try them out.

We have had mixed luck with the few brands we have tried the past 15 years for deer season. Carry an extra pair in case there is a dud since thy are cheap.
You can also get the liquid filled ones that you recharge by boiling, but they don't last all day like the disposable ones.

If you really need something dead-nuts reliable and long-lasting, I love my Zippo refillable hand warmer ($15 from Amazon). Gets and stays (12+ hours) really warm. Buy some replacement burners at the same time, you'll be glad you did.

What Dale said. But I'll add this: https://www.amazon.com/Celsius-Lasting-507-HW-Odorless/dp/B00305KAUW/ref=asc_df_B00305KAUW/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312154679201&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10253409271570167102&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9015981&hvtargid=pla-567930788322&psc=1 Word of warning! Don't ever light the hand warmer in the kitchen where you just had new linoleum installed. Just take my word for it.

Hothands work great- been using them for years and years.
You do occasionally get a dud, so have a couple of extras. Let them sit out in the air for a couple of minutes before putting them in your pocket/glove. The zippo refillables are great, but once filled you can not fly with them- even if you let them burn dry. Lost a couple of them that way. gary |

Never got a dud, but when they expire they still work, but turn things they touch black. Dunno why.
