Oh boy. I知 tired. 11.25 hours kayak bass fishing.

Damn. Not sure I can even road-trip more than 8 hours these days. Today was crazy. Friend and I could not pull the cord. We kept fishing. We would not quit.

Despite my face covering, my face is burned. Lowering the face mask to eat and drink. Oh eat? I bought and apple and a fistful of walnuts. Starved and tired. Pretty much described my day. Hehe.

Woke up at 3:30 and was in the water at 6:00 am.

We did get lots of bass. So fun. Life is pretty good. For dinner I poured leftover gravy over white rice. And a beer. . Good night guys.

I spent all day fly fishing. I waded up this Mtn stream for over two miles. Yesterday was my 50th birthday, right now I feel like I知 80.

Similar. I played hooky and rode my Dirtbike all day Friday. Super muddy, rocky, challenging. Longest I ever rode by a large margin. Most every fiber was sore the next day. Big stupid grin on my face. No regrets.

Somehow 11.25 hours of physical exercise, and not much to eat is great when having fun, and just a horrible day at the office for most people.

My nephew loves his kayak, he has gone down the Colorado twice through tyhe Grand Canyon, and lots of other rivers. He does not do much fishing in white water.

I took my son and grandson out yesterday. We left the house at 7:30 and we’re back by 3:00. I was exhausted. I flushed the motors and my son cleaned the fish. I took a quick shower and fell asleep in my chair.

I’m feeling a little better today and cleaned up the boat. It was pretty calm, so I don’t know why I was so tired. I took the wife to Savanah last week and maybe I wasn’t quite over that.

It was worth it though. Fresh fish on the grill.

When my dad retired he would go fishing 4-5 days a week during the winter, he had a place in Florida. He was lake fishin for crappie, no way I could go offshore that regularly.

Wow, 3 hours is about my limit in the kayak before my butt says 'no mas!' And I've got a fairly comfortable seat.

I couldn't do 11+ hours of fishing and that's a fact.

However a big bunch of Kahawai (Australians call then Salmon) came into the beach a week ago chasing baitfish. In about an hour or two I'd caught and kept eight (gave away six) and released another dozen. Best fishing ever but I was sore for a few days afterwards

It was casting off the beach with a lure type fishing, so pretty easy skill wise.

Me?

Just a cheap silver lure. There were so many of them, they would grab anything. The water looked like it was boiling with the Kawaii hitting the surface chasing the baitfish. I'm not very good at fishing either but because of the numbers of them I couldn't help but catch some LOL
