I bought a case at Sam's a year ago for $40. Was there yesterday and it was $99! I am dreading the cost of 3.2 parts as my 88 made a horrible sound back in October. Life got busy with my sister and mother passing in the past 6 months. So, I finally had a chance to tow her in to my mechanic. Verdict was not good.

12oz cans are available at Walmart for $8.88. Half the price of Advance Auto for same.

Are engines actually selling for the ridiculous asking prices? If so, that is what they are worth in the market. We bought VW 2.0T CCTA engines, both very low miles (less than 40K) 4 years apart from a yard we do some business with. Both were within 150.00 of each other..... I get people are asking the moon for their aircooled Porsche motors, but are they really selling at those prices? Cheers
