G'day!

Finished the first bench this morning.
Not sure if I will be adding any more boards to either the seat or the back because right now - it's SUPER COMFORTABLE - beyond what one might think when looking at it. I mean, you'd have to experience it to really understand. I did put a little angle on the back - maybe 15 degrees - and I think it made all the difference in the world - and was very easy to do, thankfully. ![]() I like a little air flow aspect for the back. It supports what's needed. I could probably take my palm sander and smooth off some of the edges. We'll see. This bench is heavy - much more than the ones it will be replacing, so I'm hoping they will last longer. At some point I will paint them with something to help with weather wear. Have to wait and let the wood dry out some. Thanks again for all the help! ![]()

Very cool! A great looking bench and I like how you made sure all the screw heads are lined up and equal distance.
(Heavy equals self-leveling and solid!) Next - an 8 sided gazebo!
