Best Shootout
This was in my youtube recommends today.
Easy choice for me...number 2 'Open Range' with Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner. Any other choices? (number 9 shouldn't even be in the running.) <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Y9JVGVrRzCw" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Bank Heist scene in the movie “Heat”.

But I was hoping for just westerns...I should have said that. |
Ahh my apologies! Carry on :)
|
^^^ No problem. 'Heat' is an excellent movie.

I enjoyed The Quick and the Dead. It was super campy, but entertaining. Gene Hackman is awesome.
Tombstone is spectacular. Even my wife likes it and she doesn't like westerns. What list would be complete without Clint in one of his coboy rolls. I watched Buster Scruggs. That was an odd movie. I feel like they are really missing out by not having this one in the list. <iframe width="720" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9zY2558He3c" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Unforgiven, gun fight in the saloon.

I can't remember the name of the Western movie. But a guy had a 10 gauge shotgun and was up against a couple of guys with single action revolvers. I liked that.

This one too.
"The Wild Bunch" - directed by Sam Peckinpaw...... <iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9uvUAi4Xybk" title="The Wild Bunch Shootout" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Not really a shootout, more like target shooting...or plinking with the big-iron....
