but it didn't have the discoloration you typically see on a katana from heat-treating/tempering so I had to look it up |
They put some sort of clay or mud on the edge of
the blade to protect it when heat treating it and that results in the discoloration saw that on TV once http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1656525390.jpg |
