and all lots are one acre lots or more. Bushy and good for fire.:D

But that neighborhood doesn't look like its up there and I have been to every corner of socal from the valley to San Diego. I could be dead wrong. I think it is fun to guess the neighborhood based on pictures. My kid played this game on line with a single google map pic and they must guess the country. Kind of fun if you ask me.

A superb antique Saudi presentation sword. This example dates from the early- mid 20th C. and came from the estate of a Shell Oil engineer who was stationed in Saudi Arabia between 1920-1950.

I don't know swords too well...I just grabbed the pic. :)

red 928 06-29-2022 09:52 AM

me either,
but it didn't have the discoloration you typically
see on a katana from heat-treating/tempering
so I had to look it up

red 928 06-29-2022 09:57 AM

They put some sort of clay or mud on the edge of
the blade to protect it when heat treating it
and that results in the discoloration
saw that on TV once

Steve Carlton 06-29-2022 01:21 PM

Still. Too touchy about it. I'm not concerned- just sayin'.

stevej37 06-29-2022 01:26 PM

I'm still wondering about the title of this thread?

I think I'll just keep mine. SmileWavy
