How does he keep the air within half an inner tube?

Seriously, other than the technical challenge, what's the point? You break a front wheel by hitting a curb, and the solution is to swap the front and rear wheels, sacrifice another (third) wheel to get two halves, and weld/fab an additional rear triangle to create a long wheelbase bicycle? That's a lot of effort to answer a question no one ever asked. What am I missing?

Haha - why so negative Noah - just a guy having fun. The "maker" thing on YouTube is big. A lot worse 'useless' things are made every day just to entertain viewers. I enjoyed watching it.

I agree. He'll still bust his front wheel on a curb.

The fun of fabbing something.

That was what I thought. I thought the video was about "Crud, I broke my front wheel, how can I make this different so that won't happen again?"

But I guess it was "Crud, I broke my front wheel, what can I do with the other half of that wheel?"

Weird video, and seems like it would very much change the dynamics of the bike. Interesting though in a "why did he do that" kind of way.

That guy is more likely to discover the next big thing. Remember when the Stingray bike came out or when you first saw a person riding a skateboard?

Why did he do that? 78 million views in a little over two weeks is a good start.

That will make him some real money.

I can imagine all the people that like attention may want one of those. I can't image a bike that long is actually better at anything than a standard bike, except attracting attention.
