I love, love, love the Lipton's onion dip. I introduced the family to it and they love it too.

"Few hours in the fridge," WTF? Yes, it's better after it's been in the fridge a bit, but I don't have the will power. When I make it, I'm starting to eat it. I have managed to make it right before doing something else so it sat for about an hour. That's the longest that I can manage. And even then, I do have a couple immediately.

And guacamole, should be really healthy. Salsa should be healthy as long as it isn't full of sugar, and avocado is full of the good fat and lots of fiber. The only downside to guac is that it will probably be followed by some extra gas (due to the fiber).

Honestly, it doesn't even make it to the fridge when I do it.

Comes in a metal pan to put right on the grill. Pour 2 or 3 ounces of beer in there, walk away for 10 minutes, and you have a todiefor dip. TODIEFOR.

Naturally you might think that we would use HEB style Texas shaped tortilla chips, which are a favorite on most cases...but, this stuff is heavy, so the Tostido dippers are needed.

I'll have to try this on the grill if it ever stops raining here, I think Colorado is the new Brazil.

I like a bit of heat. It would make sense that cayenne pepper is in there since it's pretty common in bbq rubs.

The only thing I know of that makes everything taste better is bacon. Bacon wrapped bacon with bacon bits sprinkled on top!

It's all you need unless you have time for a road trip.

Lawson's Original Chip Dip has been around for 75 years and the recipe is still the same and it's only available at Circle K in OH, PA, MI, Lawrenceburg, IN and Northern KY

I'm going to get some of steve's recommended dip first thing this morning. Anybody know if Walmart sells rib-spreaders.

Not sure about rib spreaders but they might have a portable defibrillator.

Actually the fat content won't get you immediately but the salt content, especially with the chips, can get your heart beating funny, so maybe a good suggestion.

Another option is to say no but I want to have some of that dip so I'll have like two chips with a just little dip on them.

Any wagers? lol

Yeah that's not gonna work out. Once you get started two becomes the whole damn bag of chips. The wheat thins are good with it btw. They add a bit of a sweet flavor. There was about 1/3 of the dip left when I got started yesterday. In a few short minutes it was all gone.

Subject dip was not in stock. However the marketside brand had several offerings.

That brand is in the deli section.

Edit: Walmart says subject dip is in the store I was in.

Damn you, Steve. Now I have to swing by our local Wally World today to pick some of this up. Just what I need when I'm trying to shed a few pounds.

I had to ask the gal behind the counter in aisle 40
It's right next to the guac and humus. It's stacked up, so a person can't see the label.
There's another similar one right next to it...Bacon flavored.

If worried about the carbs in chips or crackers....the dip can be easily eaten via a spoon.

Or, as someone else suggested, as a topping for a baked tater.

Yep, the only time I get it into the fridge 99% of the time is if I don't eat the whole thing the first time.
