How it Started vs. How its Going

This year Pelican Parts is proudly celebrating our 25th anniversary!

As we know, a lot can happen in 25 years. Time never seems to slow down!

In the garage, projects get bought, projects get sold. Some get finished, and some never leave!

Outside of the automotive world, some have bought houses and started families while others have retired and moved away.

Where were you at 25 years ago and where are you at now?

Show us some pictures and stories of the past and accompany them with some details and updates on what's going on for you in the present.

This includes previous and current project cars and Porsches (or other modes of transportation) and as well as big life changes in general!

Share it here!

I don't have any pervy projects.
25 years ago all I had was a dream to own a Porsche.
2003-today:

Pelican supplied a lot of stuff over the years including this:

I remember when a friend of mine whom I'd known when I was at TRWonderful took me out to the highbay at Hughes and introduced me to Wayne. Friend told me he knew a guy that was into Porsche's and was running a parts business out of his garage.
Little did I know...
My own Porsche trek started with an Alfa. This is a picture of my second Alfa.

Which I traded to my brother for my first Porsche. No pics of it readily at hand.
That eventually led to my second Porsche, one not needing a lot of body/paint work.

And that one finally led to the third and last Porsche I've owned. A unique car with a Sportomatic trans which saved my knee for another day.

Today I'm happy tooling around in a factory hot rod Honda.

I still get to live the Porsche life vicariously through my brother who has had Porsches for a long, long time.
