Las Vegas Smoke Shop Robber Stabbed

Let me preface this by saying I realize this has the potential to precipitate political discussion, but perhaps it can be discussed like adults. color me, optimistic

Recently, three guys tried to rob smoke shop in Las Vegas. It did not work out well for them. Was the smoke shop owner justified in his actions? Bear in mind that people routinely get murdered during the course of being robbed. Peacefully giving up the cash may not keep you healthy.

Graphic, uncensored video. Fairly certain the guy who got stabbed survived

If you are squeamish about someone getting stabbed, do not watch this.

I have zero problems with the guy stabbing the thief. For all he knew the thief was about to shoot him or worse. He ended the robbery real fast, and called 911.

I think the one thief still made off with the tip jar, though...

Some people are making excuses thar the story owner shouldn't have defended his property since the guy wasn't going to get much value in product, that it was too severe.
Sorry, the owner told them to leave, they chose not to and the one guy jumped the counter, at that point, all bets are off, the owner didn't know what was in that bag and $5 or $5000, it belongs to him.

I only see two guys trying to rob the place.
Coming in with ski masks was a dead giveaway that it was time to call 911, IMO.
Sure hope the robber that got stabbed doesn't sue the store owner over it.
I have no problem with what transpired in the video, other than the robbery attempt itself.

He called 911, that was nice of him. Pretty sure I would have dragged him out for his friends to pick up.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

The guy at the store didn't know what their plan was and defended himself and the store.

I have no problem with what the guy did. If the bad guys hadn't been bad, no one would have gotten stabbed. It's all on them.

I thought the fact that he dragged the guy out from behind the counter was pretty funny.

And I'm guessing that the 911 call was 1 some guys attempted to rob us oh, and by the way, I stabbed the sheisse out of one of them. And I'm OK with that.

The folks saying that the justice was too severe is crap. You have no idea what they might have done otherwise. It also reminds me of other cases, one, a kid broke into someone's home. The person came home and caught them in the act and shot them. Then the family said

Quote:
“You have to look at it from every child’s point of view that was raised in the hood,” Harris said. “You have to understand … how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.”

She and other family members said that Jenrette did not need to shoot Johnson, especially since police were on their way.

“If she called the police already, why would she shoot him?” Harris told CBS.
There was another armed robbery attempt at a store where a customer intervened with a gun. The perps family said that the robbery wasn't any of the other customer's business and should have left it to the robber and the guy being robbed.

Some would ask if the clerk valued his stuff more than the life of the robber?
I would ask did the the criminal valued the stuff more than his own life?

"Please don't let me die Sir".

Funny how polite he became after he took a beating. 100% bet he wouldn't have been so nice to the clerk if the two idiots had maintained the upper hand.

I value life very highly. But when you turn into a bad guy, your life devalues. For trying to sound like someone that didn't want to do it, he vaulted the counter pretty quickly considering the other dude ran with a coffee cup.

Yeah. "He killed me"

Must be related to the guy that got shot in the arm with the shotgun by the old man at the liquor store, "he shot my arm off" along with screams that sounded like they were coming out of a 14 yo girl

Good on you guys for that. I just don't think the store owner deserves the hassle of a law suit.

I wish the MSM would show these videos 100 times (with the intended victims face blurred to protect their identity). Maybe it would make some reprobates think twice about a life of crime.

I'm with you on that Joe.

I was surprised by how quickly the store owner came up wielding a knife.
Must be one of those fancy assisted opening ones you guys are always posting about.

He had it from the get go. You can see him playing with it right next to the register on the counter when he asked them about the ski mask. The best part was he stabbed the back of his neck like a lion would kill its pray.
