That sucks, Paul. Take some time to think about your next move will be.

![]() Makes me happy I never actually did have a "bucket list"...this because I really did do a lot in my many trips around the sun. Tons of fond memories of things I've done, friends I did them with. Many of these friends already gone. Most importantly, have spent the majority of all these years with a woman I love dearly...one who will be with me through this setback. Guys, that is really everything!

Paul, I love your strength and approach.
Clearly, you’re loved and around love all the time. Party on. Oh, and, you love coming here. Me too.

Sorry to hear of this turn of events, Paul (and Shaun). Don't do anything rash. It's OK to get that 2nd and even 3rd opinion. What have you got to lose? In the meantime, you soldier on. And when you need to vent, we're here to listen. Even if it's about Bullitt Mustangs.

So, Paul, in the interim, how about it? You're only what, 73? There's every reason to believe you have another 20 more years in the tank. What else do you have that interests you? Bread baking? Gardening? You could write a book on the history of The real Bullitt Mustang.
Research your family tree online and then research Cindy's. Pick up the uke'lele and learn all the Hawaiian love songs that Jack Johnson sings. Become the worlds leading expert on Minnesota Fats. Make a scrapbook of all the starting grids and final results of every Formula One Grand Prix in the modern era with pictures, charts and footnotes and a season-end wrapup showing the championship points totals at the end. Build a Diorama of the pool hall where Tom Cruise and Paul Newman play their first game in Color of Money. Build a 1/200 scale model of the Titanic (or the Bismarck or the Hood) There are so many interesting activities that you could embrace. In ten years, starting from scratch right now, you could easily become a master of anything that captures your imagination the way the pool hall used to. Don't give up on life and living because your sight isn't sharp anymore. You have five senses, embrace the other 4 and go to work...(and it's said that if one of your senses is diminished the other 4 will shoulder the extra load and become more acute to make up for the loss!)
