When was the time you had a truly great day?
I think it's been a while for me but today was a cosmic tumblers all clicking in place kind of day.
Got whole reimagined 964 car's worth of anodizing done and assembled and shipped after 3 straight weeks of work Out of the blue I was contacted about buying someone's huge longhood parts collection for pennies on the dollar Girl I've been texting asked me out Cayenne alignment, no drama (was expecting drama) Burned at least 2 gallons of gas in well under 20 miles of spirited driving passing a Statey that clearly didn't see me and would have been a hefty ticket and the weather was amazing. Just an overall great day where a lot could have gone wrong, didn't and got some nice unexpected surprises. Feels great and invigorating. Now for a Sidecar. |
I would say every day here...no complaints.

But if you really would like to know which day was better than most, then I'll say last Saturday when I climbed a 14,000+ mountain. Ay my age, that's a special day. |
I am regularly given to following that piece of advice that Kurt Vonnegut once gave in a commencement speech - to make a regular habit of looking around you and saying, “if this isn’t good, I don’t know what is.” I think it every time I commute to work along the lakefront and see the skyline of downtown Chicago from my bike from Shedd Aquarium or the Oak St. beach. Spring of last year my sweetie and I spent a week in LA and I had a friend’s bike to ride. One day I rode up Glendora Mountain Road / Glendora Ridge Road and back down again, and when I got back to the car I was truly ecstatic. That was a ****ing good day.

It's a state of mind. So I view most days as great days.
That sounds like an extra great day, though. |

I had a great day today. Plan on an even better tomorrow!

A line from the movie "Pool hall Junkies". Uttered by Rod Steiger playing his last role: "Every day is a good day. Just try missing one." Probably the best line uttered in that B grade flick...

Good stuff Shaun!

March 2020. I was proud Father of the Bride. Last party before covid.

I'm a miserable chit. |
Had a few days this week when the skeletal system finally clicked in alignment.
I woke up feeling better than the night before. (A couple of lucid dreams as a bonus.) Technically every day is a new day. But we forget that. |
I did. Well, my weekend was fantastic.
I saw “Bullet Train” with my family on Friday. Amazing. Got tons of honey do projects done Saturday. Took my MIL out to a super flashy dinner for her birthday on Saturday night. Went Dirtbiking Sunday morning. Mostly spaced out and relaxed after that. Truly an amazing weekend. I am still smiling from it. Glad you all are also doing well. |
I'd have to say the day I married my wife. I'd been waiting for a long time to make her my wife.
It was heart breaking today when I had to tell her that her best friend passed away last night in her sleep. |
Congrats and thanks for sharing, Shaun! You're a true inspiration for me.
Keep chargin' my friend! :) |
Well..there was this one time at Band Camp....
