Enclosed trailer
I am looking for a 14' or 16' enclosed trailer, used if possible. It would be for hauling two dirt bikes and a small side by side and other days two kayaks and a canoe. The canoe is 15'6" so a 14 with a longer v nose would/should work but I need to measure the bike/sxs combo to be sure.
So, what are decent brands? Most I see are 7k gross which, even with the Cobra in it, we would be way under. Torsion and not leaf spring I hear is worth the extra. Anything else? The mini sxs: ![]()

If you're not hauling the Cobra, I wonder if you could get by with a snowmobile trailer instead of a equipment trailer. It wouldn't be as wide, and wouldn't haul as much weight, but everything else you listed should be fine.

Found a new one kind of local. 16"oc, .030 walls, LED lights with LiPo battery that charges off the car and the ramp is good for 2700 pounds. Now, I need to talk my wife into it since it is a bit more than I planned. Trailer brake controller installed in the truck for $300 if I can wait an hour or so.

Soon as I can get to it again, I promise. Right now the crew is putting a deck on for us and they have that section of the drive blocked in. Couple days and it should be free.

That's pretty nice looking, Brent.
I'd be tempted to paint that floor decking with a deck paint to keep it from getting oiled up.

I was looking at the epoxy flooring for it. Has a slight texture and any vehicular fluids would clean up easily. Light grey paint for the engineered wood walls.
I like the jack is back far enough to clear the tailgate. I need to get a castor wheel so I can move it with the lawn tractor to get it into position better.

I second the suggestion to paint the floor. Also I would insulate that ceiling , it will be an oven in there in the sun . Then you need a 12 volt winch , then a generator. It's easy for us to spend your money 😋

The epoxy is non slip. Might get a winch, but won't need a generator.

So, I did a couple mods. First, they said it would run about $800 to run a battery for the interior and load lights when not connected to the truck. Well, I had one of these with 12v outlet:
![]() So I bought a cig lighter adapter and wired it into a 7 pin connector on the 12v aux pin and made this for $29: ![]() I also needed a good way to store the straps whgen not in use for the canoe/kayaks and motorcycles so I put up a couple towel bars. Will do another set on the other side as well. ![]() ![]() As soon as I get some gaffers tape I will do the epoxy floor and paint the walls.
