Saw an E-Mustang today

Looked over and there was a medium sized SUV shaped bloated thing with the "Mustang" badge on it. IMO, ugly as sin.

There is a white one corralled across the street from me. The owners claim they love it.

Yes, I guess if you spent that much money on something that ugly you would swear you love it too.

I have a customer with one. Yes. They are UGLY.

He claims it is the best car he has ever owned.

Must be special to overcome that level of ugly.

If the old saying is true, that it costs just as much money to design a beautiful car as an ugly one, why do you think they're still coming up with ugly cars?

Despite all the (forced) momentum, I still don’t see this EV hysteria as sustainable.

Wife and I put the top down on our old Mercedes A124 and drove 70 miles to meet our daughter and son in law for lunch in Covington, GA. Really nice downtown and not a charging station to be found. Talking on the way home, we agreed, had we driven an EV and needed a charge before the return trip we’d have probably had to leave the car at some charging location several miles away and take an Uber to lunch...and back. Complete PITA.

I think the Mach-E is all fun to ride around in until your friends see you.

I saw one a while back. Definitely ugly and NOT a "mustang". Ford should be ashamed of themselves.

I think I'd rather have a moped.

Couldn't agree more.

What was the point in calling in a mustang? Did it have something that resembled the mustang?

It is said that using the Mustang name has helped a lot in selling the Mach-E.

My lease is up on my Y soon so I looked into the Mach E as a replacement. It's not going to happen. The Mach E takes 10.5 hours to charge @ 240v with it's on board charger. No thanks.

Have you checked into the value of the Y vs the payoff? If there's equity there, you could just buy it out. If you don't want to keep it and there's equity, there might be a way to get it.

I wouldn't say it's an ugly car, but I wouldn't say it's particularly good looking. The reviews say it drives great.

Just my sense of aesthetics...SUV's and minivans not exactly a turn on. Doesn't matter who makes it. To call it a Mustang is an insult.

I don't think it looks much different than any other cross over. But I agree they should have never put the Mustang Badge on it. That just dilutes the history of the Mustang, IMO.

They are all over CA. The GT version actually looks better.
