Jupiter is fairly spectacular right now

Or as good as it will look for as long as you live anyway, unless you are pretty young. Actually the entire morning sky is pretty great right now, Orion is up high, there is a lot to look at. You can see Jupiter's moons. If you have any binoculars, break them out

I thought Jupiter got wrecked in 2010: The Year We Make Contact. Good to hear it's still around. My favorite event is a full solar eclipse. I travelled to my aunt's house in Lake Oswego to see the one in 2017. Awesome and eerie. The next one in the US is April 8, 2024. Catch it if you can!

Not much chance of seeing Jupiter from here.
It started raining yesterday afternoon and is forecast to stick around until Wed.
