yea, but i need the skill :):):)
been looking at some old videos of their shows. |
and anyone who likes deep purple has to like Rainbow ..Ritchie Blackmore awesome guitarist
|
Rainbow had some good songs but what made Deep Purple great is the combination of the five guys that were responsible for their best albums. Richie should’ve never been such a pain in the ass.
Musicians came and went and did other things but those five guys created something unique. |
Machine Head was, to my detriment, the best album ever made. Driving around in the Datsun 510 drinking, with it playing on the 8 track... The best of times, the worst of times...
How many of you geezers still have an original vinyl LP of Machine Head in your collection from the 70's ? |
Very cool, Roger Glovers bass track on Highway Star.

That poor, poor stereo.... they've still got it.... The albums pulled a vash tho'... poof, gone :D! |
I had it on vinyl. One day in the 80's I decided to get rid of all of them...cassettes had taken over.
I remember I had them all loaded in my car to sell at a local record store for $1 each. I had a Olds Cutlass and the back seat would not hold all of them standing up...from door to door. |
