The Adventures of Shaka and friends! Let the fun times begin!!!
Fun thread time folks!
This is Shaka, he is a ginger and like our youngest son, likes to see the sights when life permits, (with three little ones of his own, it’s harder to bug out). Shaka likes to visit as many places as he can. This thread is being started to track his adventures and being a chill type a guy, he is inviting any and all other like minded traveling companions. Whether a favorite coffee mug, a keychain, kid’s or grandkids trinket, shirt, pet or any item you travel with. The best part is that traveling companions can be anything under the sun. Just show a pic of your travel companion on his/her/it’s adventures. With so much seriousness going on in the world, let’s have some fun with it. Cheers ![]() ![]() Shaka on his first inter-island hop to Maui from the Big Island. Who knows where his travels will take him. On a underwater dive excursion to a hike. That’s the beauty of it. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was heading into the Rose Bowl Swapmeet. After getting my change in $2 dollar bills, they usually are handing out something. This time it was car vent air fresheners that were figures made by "Little Trees".
Well, I got Max or maybe Max got me. He's hung out on my vents through 4 trucks. One time he was gone and I panicked. I surfed the web trying to find a replacement "Max" Air Freshener but no luck. Then about 2 moths later I found him squeezed between the seats. Fell off the vent while vacuuming and he was trapped in the canyon. After a hand lift rescue he was back on solid ground. So now he's safely climbing my vent, still trying to make it to the top of the dashboard. Or as he likes to call it "Mt. Everest". ![]()

I have a pet grout. Years ago, we were tiling our home. I shaped some grout into a small (silver dollar sized) disk, and let it dry somewhere. Someone in the family asked me about it, and I told them it was my "pet grout." I forgot about it, but that year for Christmas, I got my pet grout back with small, googly eyes and a fuzzy tail attached in a presentation box. I used to keep him on my desk, but since we moved, he's chilling in a box. I'll get him out again here at some point once things are in better shape.
