Thanks for the links.
As I’ll be DIY-ing everything, they’ll come in handy. I’ve seen that white one advertised. Looks clean, but imo $10k is ambitious as it’s a “bitsa” bike. 74 frame and title, 73 engine and headlight/speedo, 75 transmission etc. It’s of course worth something, but not going to get top dollar like a numbers matching, proper bike. Buyers seem generally cold to modified examples (bobbers, cafe racers etc), and very cold on bitsa BMWs. Myself, seeing a disc brake and having a MC and hydraulic lines on a /5, for example, would drive me nuts. For me, part of the charm of the bike is that it has survived 50 years on this Earth without being crashed or messed with.
