Man, I'd love to have that car. It reminds me so much of the one I had in the early 90s that got stolen.

Bought a TON of stuff for the 914 from the VW shop. Gas cap was less than half price, part number for a bus if I remember right

The VW fits right in with the rest of the air cooled junk I keep around here.
Very nice, great job. None of my bugs ever were that nice, you have done a excellent job preserving the German heritage.

Very well done indeed! The attention to detail in every area is spot on...the entire car looks absolutely great!

Now get out on the road and drive it...and smile at all the thumbs-up you'll be getting

I can't look at that car without hearing the music from Herbie the Love Bug in my minds ear....

It looks great! Something about the earlier years that is special somehow.

Nice work!

I wish I still had this one. It was a bit of an odd ball though.

“No power steering, no power brakes,” no power engine.
What’s the point of having a ‘57 VW if you put disc brakes, a 1600 dual port engine, and a full synchro transmission?
This car just looks like a ‘57 VW. The soul has been cut out of it.

He probably could have restored a 911 for the same money.
Like he cares .....

Your VW reminds me of mine that got stolen around 1990. I loved cranking the sun roof open and driving to work in that thing. Wish I still had it.
