Side Sleeper?

I was always a back sleeper until a few years ago. Then this spring after back surgery, I found side sleeping was the only way. Finding the right pillow led to buying a half dozen diff types to fit...which none did.

A friend told me about these cube pillows for side sleepers, and I bought one. I've had it for 4 nights now and every night has been a great longer sleep.
No waking and turning at all.

It comes in three different sizes. It works great for me.

Hey Steve, what thickness did you get? I bought a similar pillow years ago, & am looking for a replacement. I trained myself to sleep on my side years ago to reduce snoring, & now I can't fall asleep on my back. One problem is my hips ache (probably because of age) sleeping on my sides, even with a knee pillow. I feel with years of use, my current pillow is slowly loosing lift.

^^^ On that Amazon link...I bought the middle size in the drop-down box. 15x12x6
I wasn't sure when ordering, but it turned out to be just right. The far right one is larger, but not as thick..

It first feels like a very hard pillow...but it adapts to the pressure.

Two things that surprised me when it arrived...
It is smaller (15x12) than I was expecting...no problem.

It is vacuum packed and arrives as 2 inch thick. Cut the package open to give it air and it slowly grows to full thickness. (takes about 10 hours)

I've tried several pillows over the years, but I always come back to foam latex. I've tried several different memory foam (cheaper) and hated them all.

Latex foam have gotten harder to find since memory foam hit the scene. I get mine from:

^^^ It's the shape of these that make them perfect for a side sleeper.

I’m a side sleeper and use a memory foam pillow. When I sleep on my side, I sleep with my arm up and the pillow between it and my head. My hand/arm rests on a another pillow.

What do you side sleepers do with your lower arm? If I’m not sleeping my usual position, I feel like my arm is just flopping around. 🤪

The pillow comes with a very nice zippered pillow case which is washable.

Trying to find a pillow case to fit one right might be difficult.

By lower arm...you mean the one closest to the mattress? Before I bought this one, I would have it under the pillow. Now with this one, it just lays next to the pillow because the pillow is much smaller.

I usually have my bottom arm out to the side if I'm facing the side of the bed or bent up along side the pillow if I'm facing the middle of the bed

Put an additional pillow in front of your chest and lean on it draping your arm over it. Problem solved.

I do have a pillow for my chest, but I’ve been sleeping like this for decades. Occasionally, I do move my arm to the chest pillow.

I've had regular foam memory pillows that had an odor when new that lasted days.
This block pillow has no odor at all.

I bought one and used it last night. It was very comfortable. My only wish would be for it to be a bit longer. Otherwise, thanks Steve!

^^^ Glad it worked for you. It took me about 3 nights to really get used to mine.
Now I can tell that it's easier on my neck when I wake up in the morning.

I bought the same pillow as the OP, unpacked it this morning, it's been sitting for over 12 hours and has barely expanded. WTF?

^^^ I think mine was good enough to use after that time....but it wasn't fully shaped until the next morning. If it isn't a full cube shape after 24 hrs....I'd call them and ask.
Amazon has one of the best return dept of any.

Mine was delivered around noon and by 11 pm it. Looked just like the one in the op.

Are you at a high altitude in AZ?
