Dacquoise is layers of buttercream in between layers of hazelnut or almond or H&A meringue. Buttercream flavors can be anything you want but if you use more than one, the have to work together. So a vanilla or chocolate and a raspberry buttercream would work but caramel and lemon might not be so great.

The texture of the meringue is part of the allure. It's got a crisp crust and a soft interior. But that even doesn't describe it exactly. It's crisp and chewy and soft all in one.

Yeah, that's implicit to declaratory superlatives Bob. I'll do my best to "IMHO" everything from now on. How this: The Lamborghini Miura SV is the most beautiful car ever made, IMHO.

Ha! I'm down to one movie a week. Definitely weighing on me. Sorry I was sharp earlier, been a very bad weekend: Put new ball joints in dentists truck, realized I have to put in an entirely new suspension, everything. Brought it back to his house, the fuel filter started leaking in the driveway. Look at this thing. The moron who put it on years ago CRUSHED it with the clamp. Drove off with my 328i, went to one grocery store, no problem. Went to another for other things, car wouldn't start. Walked home, got the Fluke and tools to remove the battery, drove back with the Cayenne. Battery is good. Called AAA. They came quickly, tried to jump it even though it tested fine again and instead of flatbedding it back home, driver said he had to go to get another car first but someone will be back to get my car, key left under driver's mat. 4 hours later I call AAA, service call had been canceled. Started a new one, got the car home late. I think the starter motor is toast. You have remove the intake to put a new starter in. Just F me.

Looks like you could make a pie out of that. Dacquoise or Mahle, your choice.
