One worlds fair, a picnic and a rodeo and...
I saw xmas trees selling for $500 each today.
My son's working in a local xmas tree lot over the break, I went to pick him up tonight and the trees are 500 and up. Son says they delivered a 15' one today to 'some russians' and total was a cool grand. At least to me they look like pretty nice trees. ![]() |

Wow. I have not bought a formerly "live" tree ever. As kid my parents bought real trees, but they were 15 to 20 bucks.
We have a very realistic fake tree we store in out attic. It cost less than 500 bucks for sure and has been used for many years.

We went to our fav Christmas tree farm in Amissville, Va. We picked the least worst, cut it down, hauled it back. 5’ tall Canaan fir = $95.00
Apparently there is a shortage of quality trees of all kinds. All my siblings have gone the fake tree route, nice but pricey. I’m still on the live tree, cut, bring home bandwagon |

I used to do live in a root ball then plant in my yard. That's how I got the beauties I currently enjoy. Now I just decorate the smaller one in front of the house. i don't cut one for inside. Humbug!
