Fuel for old porsches?
https://arstechnica.com/cars/2022/12/porsches-synthetic-gasoline-factory-comes-online-today-in-chile/?comments=1&comments-page=3
So other than the CO2 supply, which direct removal from the atmosphere could accomplish, seems like porsche is pretty bullish. The proposed scale up numbers are large to say the least in a very short timeframe. Thorium nukes people! We could do this here. Kiss the house of Saud good bye and a the same time make global warming (if you believe it or not) a red herring AND set us up for national security.

I hope Porsche great success with their plant.
As long as we can get petroleum right out of the ground under our feet, I don't see their plant as a much help. And yea, I wish "they" would work on thorium nuke plants and make those the produce electricity. I just wish I knew what the holdup is for them. That is something the government needs to push with some incentives. Forget the silly wind turbines that produce more greenhouse gasses in their production than will ever be saved. And growing food as in corn to make ethanol as fuel is just a farmer full employment act for Iowa farmers.
