A few times recently I've been in heavy traffic on I-90/94, moving along smoothly in 20-25mph traffic, when a driver behind me...*honks* at me. Or, in one case, rides my ass with their high beams. Like...what, dude? Am I not going fast enough for you? Do you see where you are? Best guess I have is that they think that since I'm not following the car in front of me at four feet, I'm somehow impeding them.

There are weeks long sometimes multiple month stretches with no rain around here.

A lot of time for oils to build up on the road surface so when we finally do get precip the roads turn into skating rinks.

Down here there are lots of folks that are either scared to drive in the rain or flat out do not drive in the rain. Like it is 3ft of snow on the ground. Traffic on roadways gets really bad and its generally a nightmare.
