^^^ I have a friend that got side-swiped on his MC and threw him off. The bike continued on for about a quarter mile before tipping over. He had no injuries and walked the distance to his bike and rode it home.
The concrete barrier kept his bike traveling straight without tipping.

Yeah, I kinda hate how well balanced modern bikes are. If you ever go down, it's pretty clear you were the problem. ;-)

Many years ago (25+) I was the asst manager of an auto parts store. I caught a woman trying to steal a $100 alternator from the store. I told her "leave it here, if you have the receipt bring it back and you can take this out of the store." She grabbed it off of the shelf between the front door and counter. I eventually saw that she had a car full of crap, and had receipts for none of it. Anyway, I told her that if she left the store with the alternator, that I'd call the police (I had a phone in my hand). She walked to the front of the store with the alternator to walk out with it. I followed her to the front (5-10' behind her) carrying the phone. At one point, she turned around and called me a cracker. It was weird, confusing, and funny.
