I like novelty. Cetme C, akm, sten, suomi, drilled a couple g19 80's, but the biggest waste of money was the mg34. Blah, what a waste of money. Future builds will be another hk, and maybe a 1919 if i can find a reasonable parts kit. Level of difficulty goes from a jig and pressing the flats, to drilling holes for the akm and other 80's. The others require welding and some milling work. The challenge for a lot of this stuff is modification from FA to SA. As the scarcity of parts and prices increasing; it no longer becomes as much fun.

Don't pay that much for an Anderson. They're budget not top tier. If you're gonna go Anderson, just get a stripped lower and we'll guide you where to buy the parts and even offer online assembly tech support. I'm not familiar with creedmoor and what barrel lengths that cartridge prefers. That will be some literature search for sure. I would say barrel material would matter more in the long run. I prefer chrome lined cold hammer forged barrels which are industrial standards but command higher prices. Some like stainless steel. If you really want to get into the hardcore side of it. I would check out green mountain barrels, but those will require some work to fit per each application. I would also check out rock river arms for uppers and parts.

This is what I put in one of my Anderson lowers last week. I hope to try it out at the range tomorrow. So far the trigger feel awesome.

I suspect PSA makes more finished lowers than anyone else. Every PSA I have seen has been fine. I have one special edition PSA myself - I have no complaint. The only Anderson I have been hands on with was badly out of tolerance. Regarding triggers - I have a couple each Rock River National Match and Larue. I also have a drop in from Rise. All of those are much better in my estimation than any mil-spec I have shot. Any time I shoot a mil-spec trigger it throws me off now. My opinion is that Larue is tough to beat for the price - but I'm a fan of Mark and he has been good to me.
