Land Rover Where to Sell?
I have an old ‘61 Land Rover that I need to sell. It has been updated with modern running gear - 200Tdi turbo engine, all synchro 5 speed gearbox, power steering, etc. but I’m not sure where to sell it. CL and Facebook seem to be populated with scammers. BAT seems to be for higher end cars. My Landie looks like crap so where should I list it?

Can't hurt to try BAT; the worst they can do is say "no".
The "For Sale" section of a Land Rover forum? AutoTrader? I was successful selling my dad's El Camino (which BAT didn't want) on there. |

I've sold bought and sold Porsches on CL and FB. But I only deal with locals, no shipping, no wire transfers. That seems to weed out the scammers. I'm sure there's a local buyer.

Update - I did not get a single response from CL or FB Marketplace. I put it on a couple of Facebook Land Rover Series Group pages for $24K and it sold within a couple of hours. Probably a lesson there in targeting an audience.
