What a lunch!

Simple as can be and cost no more than a trip to Arby’s. Filet from Wally World in my now beloved allclad with a pan sauce made up of shallots, brandy, crushed peppercorns and butter.

Steak went in the oven for a bit after searing each side. Minimal oil in the pan. You cannot eat better for $11!!!

That looks delicious. I'll probably get flamed for this but I might'a roasted a few new potato pieces or some small carrots or a little broccoli with chopped garlic in the pan with those tasty juices - if I knew how to cook a nice piece of beef as well as you do.

Garage
We have some Omaha steaks in the freezer that we got for Christmas from our son and his wife. We'll have to keep this in mind when it comes time to cook them. It'll be dinner though, not lunch.

I picked up some salmon at the store just a little while ago so I'll be cooking that tomorrow if the weather holds up.

General idea. I skipped the beef stock and didn't go too crazy with pepper on the steak.

Dang, that looks way better than the ham and swiss sandwich I am currently having for my lunch at work, toasted bread though and a side of pretzels with citrus green tea to drink.
