Well, I mainly wear shorts, long pants to lodge and when needed for work.

I have tree trunks for legs. Always have. Even in HS at 5'7 and 145 lbs. Finding jeans that fit has always been an issue. Because of my legs and ass, I constantly split jeans in the crotch when working. What would be a good substitute? Any recommendations?

Definitely not these

gusset crotch jeans or work pants. No seam there

Yes I m that guy, caveman

Oh siht, that's funny

Belt?

76 here and I hate pants that don’t require a belt…and I hate pants without back pockets.

I went from Levi's to 5.11's and i really like them. Very comfortable to wear.

I buy jeans with a waist 1 inch larger than I need and often use suspenders (braces) on them. Very comfortable.

I'm 59 and detest polyester infused stretch jeans. Its getting harder to find 100% cotton jeans now days. The new stretch jeans will shrink 14 ways from Sunday and never fit the same.

I've noticed something lately that made me cringe a little: I've seen on a couple of occasions guys in their forties wearing black tights or leggings - sort of like women's yoga pants. Not at a gym but out and about.

There was a failed attempt to get men to wear skirts some years ago. Apparently. it's making a return.

Me and my friends who are in their mid fifties to early seventies often wear tights and leggings in public. I should be ashamed, I know, but they're just so darn comfortable and I just don't care what people think anymore.

Get some jeans with a little stretch. I like Mavi brand. The problem I've found with anything too forgiving is you can pack on some pounds and not really realize it. I now weigh myself religiously every Friday, and if I see things trending in the wrong direction, I can make adjustments before it gets out of hand!

I started wearing these 20 years ago

https://gramicci.com/products/gramicci-pant

They started as rock climbers’ pants, still have the gusset crotch, legs full enough to not bind, tough material, built in belt so they stay up. EDIT also a bit of elastic, and the belt adjusts easily. Front and back pockets. They’ve gotten fancy, but there is still the basic original version in rock gray.

I don't think keeping them from falling is an issue.

I wear jeans, but they are baggy as hell. I have 3 pairs of flannel lined jeans and that's what I wear 99% of the winter. It's coming on warm weather and I'm going to look into those stretch 501s. I don't like even slightly tight clothes anymore.

Man, I’m the opposite, I just can’t stand baggy….I’m not a “skinny” fit guy either, but I prefer a more tailored look. Flannel lined jeans sound pretty sweet though, I’ve never had a pair….

I do the same with the flannel lined jeans....they are so comfortable in the colder months.

The only place that I can find for lined flannel that fit good is LL Bean....but they are pricey.
